Toys has to be his worst.

His best in my opinion has to be "Awakenings".

Yes, I'm hearing it'll be out on blu-ray in Q3 of the year 2017. So, you still have time to enjoy your DVD.

I dunno why so many ppl disliked the movie? Yeah it's a bit out there but its visually stunning and the music is really good. It comes down to personal taste and IMO i enjoyed it so each to their own.

The film's finale is everything the film's message excoriates, which is what ultimately killed my enthusiasm for the movie.

Lightbulb Ahead of its time....great movie needs to be released in theaters now

Toys was madeway ahead of its time. IMO audiences were not ready for the message Toys comedicly/darkly/paradoxically gave in 1992. It's like a poem. The Oscar worthy acting and character development are magnificent from the one-two line actor/actress to the stars of the movie. If you don't feel like your reieveing any kind of message after watching this movie you need to watch it until you do. If you come away not understanding the meaning/metaphor for the movie Toys it will subtly call you stupid to your face...repeatedly. Don't be distracted by the beautiful landscape but embrace the beutiful ceminatography. The review on rotten tomatoes has like a 26% rating and needs to be changed. If you haven't watched this movie I urge you to watch it and to those that have watched it..I need yall to revisit the movie...no matter what your opinion was/is. It could have been the most important movie about civilization and human evolution/irony that has ever been made.

Well it's just about Q3 2017 and still nothing. Anyone have any insight into when/if ever we'll see this release? Is it that it was a critical/commercial flop we haven't seen it, mainly? So what, plenty of those, old and new have made it to Blu. Jupiter Ascending, and that was way more expensive, it's just newer. So Toys did badly, and it's old, but not like, 1940s old, so why can't they just throw this out there bare bones, film is just sitting in a can somewhere.

Since Fox sub-licensed it to Starz/Anchor Bay for its 2013 DVD re-release, I really doubt that the either party has any interest in putting it out on BD. Sure I'd like to have a BD of it so I could retire my Laserdisc copy, but the reality is that there's just no business justification for them putting in the expense and effort required to do so.

This is the wish list forum is it not? Where people post about films they want on blu. Are people supposed to make a new thread for every movie instead of keeping posts within pre-existing threads? That'd make for a very cluttered and repetitive forum. Also, someone specifically cited Q3 2017 which it nearly is, so I semi-ironically made a new post, but I do want Toys on Blu ray. What exactly is the point of your post other than to be an ass.
