Not sure what you're asking here.

With Rock Band, you don't need all of the roles filled in order to play a game. You can play any of the instruments [Guitar, Drums, Vocals] with or without the others. In Rock Band 1, you can't do Guitar / Bassist solo, but you can in Rock Band 2.
