**NEW TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT**

Our last announcement this morning brings us into sequel territory: 1990’s GATE II opens up on Blu-ray for the first time.

GATE II picks up again with Terry, the teenage sorcerer who summons beings from the other side whose powers can be used to grant any wish. Unfortunately, before the Gate closes again, a "minion" – a tiny disciple of Satan himself – manages to slip through to our dimension. When the creature is kidnapped – all hell breaks loose.

Many extras are in progress and will be announced at a later date. National street date is February 20th. However, pre-order now directly through us @ https://www.shoutfactory.com/product...roduct_id=6534 to have the item ship two weeks early!

Yes, it's not as good though. But I'm picking it up. Only a Canadian DVD exists, not sure if it is still in print though.

Only one of the 4 titles announced I'm interested in. I always said after "Hell Night" everything that comes after is just icing on the cake

Last night, listening to the Hysteria Continues commentary for Arrow's The Slayer, there was a funny moment when they were discussing these films.

One dude was talking about the construction worker in the wall, and what a cool effect that was when he fell and broke apart into demons, and one of the other fellows said, "Eh, I don't remember the first film; I only really like the second one."

There's this awkward pause while everyone listening (including me) does a stinkface doubletake.

After hating on this one for a number of years, I revisited it within the last year and you know what? It isn't all that bad. Definitely doesn't work as well as the first but it's a solid follow-up that goes in a wildly different direction without rehashing what worked the first time.

Very excited for this release.

Probably a pretty unpopular sequel but I've always enjoyed it. Definitely will be getting this.

Gate 2 is vary good. I liked it as much as the first honestly. This is one that I watched around when it first came out, and loved it ever since.

I've personally always enjoyed the sequel, and have owned the Canadian DVD for many years. It'll be nice to finally see it in Widescreen!

Not nearly as good as the first, but a whole lotta fun. My favorite is the convertible that turns into actual shit.

I enjoy the first Gate, but I haven't seen the sequel in a long time. Like, since VHS long. When Vestron didn't include it with their BD of the first, I was worried that that might be it, that the film would slip further into obscurity and be forgotten. So, I'm legit excited for this!
