Default Woody's Updated Theater

Hello, I just noticed this part a few weeks ago, so I waited until I had more pics to add to my gallery before starting a thread for it.

Since my initial pics, I finally have my new remote system, and some of my new chairs.

I still need a few more chairs and my new amp stand. Also soon to be incoming is a new Oppo BR player and tomorrow my Audyssey pro calibration!

The screen is a 100" Stewart FirehawkG3. One of my favorite purchases.

Hey Woody, you know you have it made in the shade right !!!

Although I bet the VS owners circle is making you want to upgrade.............. I can't imagine owning some of the bigger models !!! It would be so nice.

LOL, yeah thanks for the tip on that forum. I even learned there that they offer an upgrade on my existing mains.

To the tune of ~$8000. Yikes

What a bummer someone gave my set-up 2 stars.

Oh well, life goes on.

Edit: the poster replied to me and simply graded it wrong.

Gee, I am really sorry to hear that. No way is that correct. I haven't voted, but I would give you at least a 4.5 stars. Did you get a load of the home theater of the guy that gave you 2 stars? If yours warrants only 2 stars, then his only warrants 0-1/2 star that is it.

Rich

That's not a bummer....

That's a joke and a half.....

It's funny when someone give a low score and the set-up they have is not even close to who they are judging!

I would give your setup a 4.5 and Brain Sturgeon's setup a 5.0. I really like what you have done with your space.

Thanks again for the kind words.

The room itself was block walls before I finished it and the adjoining room for my girls.

I am now debating if I should attempt to make homemade movie/CD racks.

Sorry for the ceiling, I am in the process of finishing that section.

I only got to view it for a bit last night, but DVE is happening tonight and ISF is incoming next week!!

Yeah, I will have to learn how to do that effectively.

After I got it up last night I was adjusting the focus, lens shift, iris, etc the Clones wars was on TBSHD. IT looked pretty awesome right out of the box with ALL of my room lights on.

I can't wait to see some BR's after a calibration, AND watch hoops tonight!!

looks like you put a fair amount of money into this setup. It looks excellent. Now if only that couch really were pink.
