Nhl 2k9 - Blu-ray Forum

Times running out for me to decide to get this for my friend on Wii or PS3. I'm leaning toward the Wii because of the hockey like controls, it just seems like a sports game you would want on the Wii. Of course I would be coming over all the time so picking out the one for the right console is quite crucial.

Anyone have this game on either title and tell me what you think?

Get nhl2k9 for the wii. Get NHL 09 for the ps3. If you can only choose one, pick nhl 09, it simply the better game but my friends tell me 2k9 is quite fun on the wii so you should get both.

are you definitely sold on 2k9? no considerations for nhl 09? because that is the better game by a far far margin.

Dude get NHL 09 for the PS3. Its way better. Ever since EA changed the control scheme, so now all your stick movements are with the right thumbstick. Its so awesome.

I ended up not getting it for him so he could choose for himself. Honestly I would have leaned toward the Wii because its actually feels pretty natural on the Wii. Not that I have anything against 09, its basically they didn't have an option for the Wii... why I don't know. The fight controls are pretty cool as well, its like wii boxing in a hockey game.

Now if I could just convince him to get FFXIII for PS3 so I can play when I come over too...
