The picture quality will be something else on blu-Ray

My friend and boss has booked the seats to see this on Saturday-28th, and to be honest i have been looking forward to seeing this for over a year now and the trailers '' I never get bored of watching them''.

Transformers should will have lossless audio on it. I have no idea of what kind of lossless audio Paramount will support but it should be awsome. Does any one know what lossless audio Paramount will support eg. PCM,DTS HD MA, DTS High Rez audio, or DD True HD? Can you send our answer to my private message box as well as posting it if you know.

Transformers blu ray should contain a PCM 5.1 audio track. HD DVD will include a DTHD track, if they bother with one...

Cool Really good movie

Surprisingly good really, until you remember that Spielberg produced it.

The movie should translate very well into blu-ray and the effects should be good enough to hold up to such a high-quality transfer. It will be a must buy.

Default Digital Transformers

I saw Transformers on a digital projector. It is a close to a Bluray experience at the movies I have ever had. The picture was crystal clear and the DTS sound was incredible. There was no noisy projector in the back ground. The action did not blur one bit. I could see all Decepticons getting the crap kicked out of them by the mighty Autobots. It is too bad that one digital projector cost over 1 million dollars. The theater industry can not afford to upgrade all there projectors. Especial in the 24 mega plex’s of today. But if they did upgrade there would be allot of people out of work. The projectionist, the film techs on and off the movie set, even down to the person that delivers the prints to the theaters would be eliminated. The theater just downloads the movie to the projector.

Beside, other than the occasional midnight premiere I would rather be at home watching Bluray.

Dreamworks and Paramount, so it'll be on Blu-Ray come the holidays or whenever they decide to release it.

Transformers, and movies like it, were MADE for blu-ray.

In fact, I pity anyone who ends up watching this on standard DVD.

The effects are absolutly spectacular. I think watching this at home on blu-ray will be the highlight of my collection. I just hope Paramount decides on a PCM or TrueHD format for better quality sound. I bet they will, this movie has already done like 300million in a few weeks. They will spend some bucks on the DVD/Blu-ray release. Maybe you can get a collectors Tin that transformes.. That would be sweet!

Nope, it's only recently been released here in the uk. Then again to put things in perspective, we've got to wait until the 7th of September for Disturbia to be released in the cinema over here... and I've got the U.S copy of it on Blu-ray sitting underneath my telly as we speak.. thats how big the difference is sometimes with films. Transformers will be straight in my collection when it's released, I cannot wait for it... Optimus Primes big lips n'all..
