Amityville: The Awakening (2017)

I`m surprised there wasn`t even a thread for this yet.

My question:
The press release pics all showed a pic with a slipcover. However, all the
Youtube review copy unboxing videos I saw didn`t show it coming with
one.
Does anyone know if the retail copies next Tuesday will have one, or
did Lionsgate change their mind last minute?

So there's an impending new release with no dedicated thread yet, and the entire OP is:

"Will it have slipcover?"

The priorities around here. You'll find out when you go to store Tuesday morning (not the store Tuesday Morning, they don't sell Blu-rays ). It's a blind buy anyway, so consider it one more surprise! (Probably as compelling as any "surprise" in this pre-forgotten movie.)

This is so true, people care more about these slips than the damn movies and I've never understood. I've actually seen people say they didn't buy a particular film because it was missing a slip cover lol

I pre-ordered mine a few weeks ago from Amazon. It should be here Monday or Tuesday. I am looking forward to seeing it. I am a huge fan of the Amityville films and the trailer did look pretty good. I am not sure if it will have a slipcover or not but I will report back when it arrives and let you know.

It’s a travesty that this movie gets released on blu-ray but Amityville 1992 and Dollhouse still have not seen a blu ray release.

I didn't see a Digital Copy insert in the case either, even though it says Digital HD on the cover. This is based on the unboxing video.

Google Play was giving away a digital copy for free... not sure if they still are.

I feel the same. There are a few other Amityville titles that have yet to be released on Blu-Ray...

1989 - Amityville 4 - The Evil Escapes
1990 - The Amityville Curse
1992 - Amityville - It's About Time
1993 - Amityville - A New Generation
1996 - Amityville Dollhouse

I've only seen a couple of them so I am not even sure if they are any good or not.

I'm not seeing any slipcovers on posts from Instagram either. I watched this film the other night and it's actually not as bad as some have made it out to be. I went ahead and ordered it, hopefully it'll come with a slip.

Google Play was offering a free copy so added it to my library. Was going to watch it during my Halloween horror movie marathon but didn't get time to fit it in. Any good?

Amityville - It's About Time is actually my favorite Amityville in the entire franchise. The latter sequels have never been treated well on home video, as evidenced by all of them MIA on Blu-ray.

This has four and a half stars on Amazon. That's only out of 12 users, but still.

I've been wanting to see this for a while now. I'm a sucker for ghosts, demons, and spooky things. My copy will be in tomorrow.
