$5 MS Gift Card XBOX Live Users

Start checking your inbox on your XBOX Live account, Microsoft has sent out codes that are good for $5 on the XBOX Live Marketplace. You have to enter the code into your XBOX Live account by the end of November but then you have a few months to use it once you have activated it into your account.

I do wish they had a better way of notifying people when they have messages in their inbox, perhaps a mail icon appearing when you sign in and randomly until you have read the message. The date on my message was Nov. 6th but didn't notice it in my inbox until today, the 11th.

i need to change my e-mail account cause i put the wrong one in when i created it on Tuesday. i was so damn tired from lack of sleep that i wasn't thinking straight

You should be able to log into your XBOX console (if you play via a console) and find the message that way, but yes you can find it by logging into XBOX.com once you change your email address.

how do you even do that? i don't know how and it's 2 am here so if the phone has to be used i'm not gonna do it now

I am not sure if this is something they are sending out to those in the USA or other parts of the world. To sign into your account on the internet, just go to http://www.xbox.com and then sign in with your email and password and then you should be able to check your messages, see what friends are online, etc.

well on my account on microsoft it's the right one cause it says hotmail but on my console it says outlook the wrong address

I believe Outlook and Hotmail are one in the same but someone can chime in if I am wrong.

yes they are but what really doesn't get me is that i bought cuphead okay and i through my e-mail on my PC used the code and it went thorugh but than it hasn't activated the damn thing. so since i posted outlook instead of hotmail that's my guess on why it didn't go through even though outlook is now hotmail my original addresss was hotmail and i just tried the damn code through the console and it's already been used

You may want to contact customer service, my goal here was just to alert people to check their XBOX Live account messages for the $5 code message from Microsoft.

well i deleted it on my x box and created a new one it's the same account though the ***** about that i lost my achievements but i only had like 130 anyways as it was still a new account. and i changed my e-mail to the right one and still nothing from cuphead... hmm

i also don't see on my console anyways the five bucks

okay doing that did help me get cuphead i'm downloading that now, thank god for that i was worried i would have had to buy the damn thing again. so far they haven't sent me the $5 bucks well the game is more important to me than the $5 bucks to be honest

i think i found it but they haven't sent me anything yet. i think i had it shut off when i looked earlier as i didn't realize that but it's on now so i get Messages from xbox live
