Was there a thread for this? Searching didn't pull up anything. Anyway, this movie looks pretty awesome to me, like a popcorn version of Heat on steroids

Saw this trailer before Thor. 50 Cent being in the movie makes me not want to watch it.

It's not a remake, but no doubt influenced by it.

I think it looks really good. Not sure I see "Heat" in it aside from telling the story from both cops and robbers' viewpoints. I mean, the cop side is way more hardcore/rogue than Pacino and company.

The first and only review I've come across was on some site called Tracking Board but then it got deleted. Broke the embargo maybe? Drew McWeeny gave it a D-. Called it childish and incredibly violent. Compared it to Heat (which is obvious) and another movie which leads your mind to come to a conclusion that would be a pretty big spoiler.

I can't imagine it being a well-regarded movie as far as critics go. I think it'll just be a fun popcorn type film.
