Default Batman Returns PQ

First off yes it's fully uncut. With the scene where catwomen stuffs a few cans of aerosols into microwave and brakes a gas canister.

For PQ i give this 4.5. There's a couple of minor things that just have me knock it back a little. For a start the film is mostly set at night so considering the films age there was always bound to be just a couple scenes where grain is a little more noticeable in these night scenes.

There was one odd scene where Michelle Pfeiffer's face was strangely given an overdose of DNR.

Some speckles of print damage that caught my eye here and there but nothing to over the top. As i said these things are minor and some ppl might think im being a little trivial.

I still found the first Batman to be the better for PQ so far but overall Returns has never looked better and has a very strong transfer.

Sounds great. Do you have Batman Forever, and if so, how is the PQ on that one?

How bout Batman & Robin? I am so hyped to see that on Blu-Ray and hear the one liners like: "Ice to see you, Allow me to break the ice, What killed the dinosaurs? The ice age! and Time to kick some ice" in lossless audio.

It's never been fully uncut here ever till the Blu-Ray release. It looks like they just used the US transfers cause right at the beginning you see the FBI warning.

Wasn't the headbutt between Catwoman and Batman cut as well?

Very likely as the run time on other releases was 121 where as this one is the full 126 so a possible 5 mins cut from the whole movie before the Blu-Ray.

Not got a sound set up but it's Dolby True HD. From my TV alone it sounded pretty solid like.

I am really looking foward to the Batman titles. Can't really wait to have them in my collection. Although, Keaton, was not a good choice for Batman (my opinion, others will disagree) Jack was a terrific Joker.

Yeah he was midget. The opening scene in the first movie where spreads his bat cape cracks me up.

Yeah.. I said something about that in another thread. The way he throws his arms in the air to look bat-like is corn at its corniest. Compare that with how Bale's Batman grabs thugs from the shadows in a fraction of a second.

Yeah but he could do it without the spawn of Clint Eastwood and a grizzly bear voice.

Yeah i know that was in a review of The Dark Knight i think or was on this form but it's so apt.
