Reservoir Dogs
Pulp Fiction Jackie Brown Kill Bill 1&2 (preferably The Whole Bloody Affair) Death Proof Inglourious Basterds Django Unchained The Hateful Eight (hopefully the Roadshow version) I would LOVE to see every single one of these with a 4k release. I'd even pay double. |

The roadshow version of The Hateful Eight would be incredible. That would probably be among my most wanted catalog titles of the last several years.

I only need both Kill Bills with the first one being the uncut, uncensored version.

Agreed. Tarantino is a bit overrated in my book, but these two people are pretty top-notch. These along with Once Upon a Time in Hollywood would satisfy my itch for Tarantino on 4K. Though if Jackie Brown came out I might cave on it. I've never seen it and it looks like it could be good.

I'm such a mood for any of those. Has there been anything on the news front? Maybe if OUATIH wins for best picture or best director, right? |

The rest? yeah I might well pick them up at some point but I'm not sure I'd be rushing out for them straight away unless an uncut version of Kill Bill 1 was included. |

Agree that Reservoir Dogs is the film that would benefit the most from a UHD release, out of all Tarantino movies. The old master doesn't look that great, even by the old, early 2000s HD masters standards. And I have recently watched my French blu ray, which is AVC encoded and has a higher bit rate than the ancient, US VC-1 release.
And while they're at it, I hope that they completely remaster the audio, and make some of the echoey sections in the warehouse (particularly some of the quick Buschemi dialogue) crisper and clearer. But there has to be some kind of rights limbo with regards to QT's early Miramax films, perhaps tied to the whole Weinstein issue, and which is why they're as of yet unreleased on UHD. I mean, Lionsgate seems to have released all of their AAA classics on UHD, and there is no way in hell that they would release stuff like Red Heat and Lock Up before Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction if they had a chance to. |

To be fair, these cited releases are here because of StudioCanal's proactiveness on 4K releases rather than internal politics at Lionsgate.

Maybe so, but you still have stuff like American Psycho and Lord of War, which aren't Studio Canal movies as far as I know, being released by Lionsgate in North America. They're solid movies and everything, but nowhere near the scale of Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction.
