Paramount titles owned in iTunes but not with extras

So I have copies of Hugo and Titanic in iTunes and both supposedly have extras yet my copies do not have them. Anyone know why this would be?

Probably back when the original blu rays came out, so 2012-ish? I guess that explains why no extras, but other titles have had extras added that weren't there before.

A lot of distributors have upgraded movies with iTunes Extras, but not all.

And a few studios re-listed their movies to avoid adding extras for free meaning you'd have to buy again to get the extras. I lost all access to extras on few like Elysium when the distributor did this.

As far as I know, Apple have taken measures to prevent us losing out like that in future.

I have both Hugo and Titanic, both redeemed from the original Blu-ray releases shortly after they became available. Hugo is HD and has extras, Titanic is SD and has no extras.

With any luck your versions may be upgraded to the new versions if/when Paramount joins MA (this has happened with quite a few other older titles from MA studios). Unfortunately there'll probably not be an HD upgrade for my Titanic anymore since MA changed its policy.

If you have SD copies, you will not have access to the Extras.

They came from BluRay redemptions, so I'm pretty sure they are HD.

Not if they were XML copies or specifically redeemed in SD like Titanic. Getting a digital copy with a Blu-ray doesn't guarantee an HD digital version.

I have both titles from the 3D blu-ray releases from (2012?) and both are SD w/ no special features

Maybe we'll be pushed fresh copies at a later date (I got new versions of Dark Knight & Inception last month)-- but nothing is a guarantee

A possible option is to delete the title from your library and see if it was updated to HD in your iCloud.
