Yes! Unfortunately missed this in theaters and really did wanna support it after seeing how terrible the box office was. So glad Sony are releasing this on Blu-ray as I didn't think it would happen. (or that it'd be a BD-R if anything)

The movie had virtually non-existent marketing. I didn't see any trailers for it in theaters, or TV spots either. I also feel like the title is kind of terrible, and makes it sound like it's some kind of documentary rather than an actual film, the poster art doesn't help that impression either.

Finally, I know they were trying to ride the wave of the actual WW film, but I think that backfired on them too, as it just came off as some no-name rip-off or something. Most people are completely unfamiliar with Marston, so the name really wouldn't draw them in.

I feel they shoud have shelved this one until next year, and create a proper marketing campaign for it, to allow it to carve out an identity of its own.

I did see a fair amount of TV spots, personally. I might've seen the trailer once in theaters. But that was just my experience. Everything else I pretty much agree with, although I kind've like the old-fashioned title that fits a comic book. When I first saw the poster for this a few months back I thought it looked cheap and that the movie would be so-so forgettable, trying to bank off the mega budget blockbuster from earlier in the summer. It seems like it's actually pretty good, however.

Don’t think it’s meant to have one. At least mine didn’t come with it. I’m keeping it sealed for now just in case but I’m pretty sure there is no slipcover for this movie.
