Default Ed Wood Collection

Anyone know who has the rights to the following Ed Wood films?

Glen or Glenda (1953)
Jail Bait (1954)
Bride of the Monster (1955)
Plan 9 from Outer Space (1959)
Night of the Ghouls (1959)

It would be great if Arrow or Shout! Factory would get the licensing rights to put out a box set of all the Ed Wood classics! Or am I the only interested in a set like this?

I'd love a set like this, but it's probably not going to happen any time soon. My understanding is that Wade Williams owns these films and is sitting on them until somebody offers him the amount of money he wants. With home video being less profitable than it was in the DVD days, nobody has had any luck with most of his stuff. It's a shame. I used to have the old pink box set, and Plan 9 and Night of the Ghouls were pretty fun to watch iirc.

He also owns Invaders From Mars and a bunch of other titles people would love to see cleaned up and on blu. I know he's been approached by Kino and Criterion for some of them, but he's apparently asking too much.

The price is only going to go down as every year passes by, because as you said, with the home video market shrinking year by year, it's going to be less and less profitable for anyone licensing anything. Such a shame Williams is so blindsided by bags of money that will never happen, that cinephiles have to lose out in the end.
