I thought I preferred something along the lines of the Alex Ross inspired poster, but the more I look at it the more I think I would not like it for a cover. I guess it's because it is just their faces, even though the iconic nature of it (Ross paintings) has some appeal.

However, I am really liking this possible steel cover! Comic art that is supposed to look like a comic.

Note to Marvel/Disney....for goodness sake, get on board with this. Both companies made their start at drawing table. There’s way too much iconic Marvel artwork to NOT use.

What WB/DC should do is go back and re-release all their superhero films in this style. Would love to finally get Superman 2,3 &4 on steelbook.

Well, since I refuse to buy live action movie steelbooks with comic artwork I am hoping somewhere else in the world has a real steelbook to offer.

The cynic in me feels like even if there was a directors cut, they wouldn't release it because everybody has asked for it.

Last time India showed art for a 4K steelbook that later became the art for the US Best Buy steelbook, it was for Logan.

Its a safe bet the US 4K steelbook will have the same art.
