waiting, elf, old school, super troopers, scary movie, and 50 first dates all look good on blu (only ones ive seen so far, plus i own these so i know off hand).. 50 first dates is probably the most dull in terms of PQ; the rest look pretty good i really enjoyed these movies getting transfered to blu...off hand superbad, tropic thunder and knocked up i want to pick up. ive read 40 year old virgins PQ is pretty dull, but ill probably still winde up still buying it

Way to contribute to the thread, champ.

Comedies are definitely a genre that needs a bit of boost on blu though. That being said, Superbad and Talladega Nights are pretty decent.

Waiting & 50 First Dates look horrible for being Blu-ray releases. Waiting is a DNR waxy fest and 50 First Dates is HD light, looks more like a upconvert with a touch of EE

The 40-Year-Old Virgin is another waxy title with a lot of edginess from all the EE but I love the movie....

Superbad is fine.. it has a softer, over saturated look but it's the director wanted.. a solid release overall

Tropic Thunder and Knocked Up look 'great' IMO... buy them before The 40-Year-Old Virgin

All of Apatow's films...40yoV, Knocked Up, Superbad, Forgetting Sarah Marshall and soon to be Pineapple Express are all great.

i said 50 first dates looks the softest... didn't I? and i thought waiting looked pretty good, wax was definitly an issue, but their probably never going to double dip that title, so what we see is what were getting...
