It's reassuring that Rosa Salazar is also a big fan of the manga herself. She read the original volumes and also Last Order and watched the OVA Anime before acting as Alita (Gally). Really cool!!

The deluxe edition hardcovers of the manga are great, but I just found out a box set will be coming later this year. Oh well!

Yeah, I found out too this weekend! Too late! Anyway, I had to pass on the Ghost in the Shell boxset too because I already had bought the 3 deluxe books, and I decided to remove the Akira books from the boxset to put them on a shelf, so I'll simply continue buying the remaining books 3-5 of Alita, along with the Bonus book "Battle Angel Alita: Holy Night and Other Stories" (translated in English for the first time!) separately on release dates. Oh, since my picture, I also bought Battle Angel Alita: Last Order Omnibus 1-5 and Volume 16-19!!! I have a lots of reading to do now!
