Shoot em Up is locked and that's Eagle Pictures but ya never know

Eagle's "The Illusionist" was region free. "Shoot-Em-Up" was region locked everywhere. So it is a 50/50 chance.

This was a great movie. Good to know that more titles are coming in steel that are not just action type films.

So, is 'The Interpreter' region free? I know its come up in another steelbook discussion thread but I didn't really see a clear answer either way.

It looks like its still in stock at dvd.it and dvdland.it, so I could still order it.

Has anyone actually watched this disc? I'm curious how subtitles are handled. As an English-speaker, I'd hope for some option to have non-English dialogue subtitled, and English dialogue not subtitled - does that option exist on this disc?

I would be careful, in threads memoirs of a geisha (Italian) was said to be region free and mine wouldnt play in my PS3

even if is a region free, there's also a problem with PAL VS NTSC systems.. that's one of the reason it won't play

Does it still play since firmware 2.70 or later? And is there an option to have English subtitles for the non-English dialogue, but no subtitles for the English dialogue?
