Default Trying to find the name of a made for TV Vampire movie.

I have been trying to find the name of a made for TV Vampire movie. I don't know if my memory is combining things or if I got stuff mixed up but I recall a movie about a female Vampire and I believe it was made for TV and I believe the Hall & Oates song Maneater was used in the film or the promos on tv. It would of probably been around the late 80's or early to mid 90's.

Am I making things up or does anyone else recall this?

Was it Daughter of Darkness with Mia Sara and Anthony Perkins? That was made in 1992. The only other vampire movie I can think of in that time frame other than that was Fright Night: Part II.

I don't know. The main thing I remember is the song Maneater or the use of the phrase Maneater in the tv promos. Now I am wondering if the song was even in there and I just heard the phrase Maneater and associated it to the song. I believe there were killings going on in the city and a cop was trying to track the killer and she turned out to be a vampire.

Sounds similar to Innocent Blood.

That is probably it, it was made in 1992. It was a theatrical release but it was also shown on HBO a lot after it's release.

No I’ve seen innocent blood. It’s not that. This would of been a made for TV movie where they ran spots for it to get you to turn into it on its premiere.

Was it the Dark Shadows reboot with Ben Cross? Seems like the right time period

That could be it. In the premiere episode, Barnabas turns Daphne into a vampire. In the movie Nick Knight with Rick Springfield there was a female vampire also.

I remember a 1989 TV movie called Nightlife with The Living Daylights Bond girl Maryam d'Abo as a vampire who falls in love with a human doctor while being pursued by her vampire lover ex played by Ben Cross. More of a horror-comedy than anything else.

Could it have been a werewolf instead? There was a 2 part tv movie called House of Frankenstein with a vampire a werewolf & Frankenstein monster.
