Bought the Twilight Time Version in the sale around late november... as far as I can tell, the extras are the same apart the Protect and Servive PIF and I'm guessing that's on Youtube... I wonder if there will be any difference in picture quality.

This sucks to hear... oddly enough, I bought Stormy Monday recently, too.
Should I sell both and hope for the best elsewhere? I haven't opened either of them, so I could still get a good price for them. |

Looks like I'll be buying the BFI disc to make sure... good job I didn't crack open the T.T over Christmas (I had thought about it), because this is the perfect film to watch over the holidays.
![]() In all seriousness, I've never seen When the Wind Blows, but it's been a curio for me since seeing the CBS Fox big box in the video shop as a kid... about 30 years ago... damn, time flies. Love the David Bowie theme song that went along with it. |

Not sure that was the issue. It sounded more like phasing in the stereo field like the channels weren't properly aligned, so I'm hoping it's not in the supplied master and the BFI won't have the issue. It was definitely bad enough for me to sell the TT version as soon as this was announced.

The processing you can do is either: 1. lower the pitch by 4% which naturally extends time 2. keep pitch constant and extend time via audio processing Option 1 would have been fine, at worst a little lower pitch (barely noticeable) but in many cases the 25fps audio masters are too high in pitch anyway Option 2 causes exactly the type of annoying echoing artifacts we hear in the TT disc. Puppet master 2 full moon edition had same exact problem BTW. |

The same exact type of flanging/phasing was also present on the '84 Entertainment release of Seven Notes In Black on both the BD English track at 24fps and the included PAL DVD at 25ps. |

The English audio on the Severin DVD of Seven Notes was totally fine too. I'm hoping that any issues on this were introduced at the encoding stage and not present on any newer master that is being handed out.

From what I understand, the dialogue hadn't had any problem, so this makes sense. |
