How about a picture of the front cover please? Also, it appears to be part of a set or something since the bar code is covered. Please elaborate.

I found the pq to be good. it is nothing reference by any means. Just a solid jump over the dvd. The AQ was very good for the battle scenes and other scenes that had background hip hop music. I can say if you are a fan of the flick, it will be worth it to replace the dvd. Not something though worth rushing out to purchase though on day 1 in my opinion. I am just a very big fan of the film. It has all the same bonus materials as the dvd too with nothing extra. No trailers and i do not recall the dvd having the trailer.

I was dispapointed that they still have not included the video for Lose Yourself. I mean it won a oscar that year for best song, but they choose not to include it

Bingo.

Yep, Universal made an odd error in packaging this with the action box set. Very few made it out. Hopefully they will add the title to a future Drama box set.

So how many copies actually made it out before they pulled it? I have not looked lately on Ebay but I wonder does this title command a significant premium there? I would sell now as this BD is definitely going to be made available at some point soon.

8 Mile is being released a week before "Relapse" - Eminem's upcoming album. Should be around April. My friend (Best Buy manager) told me that they shipped a few copies, then pulled them off the shelf. The original release date back in December.. a few stores actually had them out that day. I guess some people got lucky.

Movies have become the newest way to promote album releases. See Ludacris & T.I.
