Watched the 1st half of Elysium last night in 4k.
It looks amazing. The contrast between the colony and the shanty town really pops.

4k still doesn't help Jodi Foster's ridiculous acting though.

Also, I saw this film in the theaters and multiple times at home and never noticed the logo etched into some of the character's faces.
It's as clear as day now.

I have just watched it, the mi4k BD was a great transfer and this is probably equal on the resolution side, but the added hdr really helps the look of the movie now.

It really shows the need for digital streaming review sources.
This film really shows what the format can do and most won’t even know about it.
Great 4K transfer, great hdr, great Atmos soundtrack.
But until it gets a UHD physical release, no one will know.

Saw that this was released in DV/DA on iTunes. Sat down ready to stream, because it's oh so easy now days. UK Store only has a HD copy. Frustrating!

Same here on the Singapore store, along with many other movies that have been 4K on the US store for awhile.

Can anyone explain what is taking these studios so long to upgrade titles to 4K in other countries?
