Default Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay Warner Bros. Animation

From Warner Bros. Animation, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment comes a surprise animated feature centering on DC Comics’ most nefarious foes. In Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay, the title team, also known as Task Force X, will assemble under Amanda Waller in order to risk their lives once again and retrieve a mysterious and powerful object. This time, they’re going up against other villains outside the Skwad who want the MacGuffin for themselves and will do anything to get their hands on it.

Christian Slater (Deadshot), Billy Brown (Bronze Tiger), Liam McIntyre (Captain Boomerang), Kristin Bauer van Straten (Killer Frost), Gideon Emery (Copperhead), Tara Strong (Harley Quinn), Vanessa Williams (Amanda Waller), C. Thomas Howell (Zoom), Dania Ramirez (Scandal Savage), James Urbaniak (Professor Pyg), Julie Nathanson (Silver Banshee), Jim Pirri (Vandal Savage and Vertigo), Greg Grunberg (Maxum Steel), Dave Fennoy (Blockbuster and Tobias Whale), Cissy Jones (Knockout), Natalie Lander (Darma), Trevor Devall (Punch), Dave Boat (Harvey Dent/Two-Face) and Matthew Mercer (Savage Gunman).

Keep an eye out for Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay on home video later this Spring. In the meantime, check out the first images released from the upcoming animated movie:

Probably as close as they’re gonna get to an actual Suicide Squad sequel.

True. Here's the rating:

Rated R for strong bloody violence throughout, sexual content, brief graphic nudity and some drug material.

DC should just keep focusing on their animated films and give up on live action

True.. But this feels like it won't be a sequel to AoA from 2014. Probably HQ is gonna show more butt and backside nudity then boob front side. I really liked the first one and the score to it. Also op you might want to post the word ANIMATED MOVIE to the title as SS2 should be filming this year.

No way. I hope they eventually are able to course correct, but nevertheless, it’s fascinating to watch the trainwreck that is the DCEU.

Skinny Waller and no Rick Flag

Glad Bronze Tiger is getting some love though. He should have been in the movie.

Oh, I thought this was going to be a sequel to Assault on Arkham. But, this is part of the new 52 crap, instead.

Why wouldn't they make a sequel? It made like a billion dollars.

These dc movies would be cool in theory but the animation always looks so cheap.

Because that first film is such a mess, and the whole brand itself is suffering. So much so that thus far, there has been next to no connective tissue with Suicide Squad and the rest of the films. I know Warner Bros are reportedly eager to get a sequel on the run, but between a straight up sequel, a Harley/Joker stand-alone film, Gotham City Siren’s, the Will Smith Deadshot movie and that other Joker origin movie, all of which seem to have nothing moving fast. It’s many differing, conflicting options on the table, and they all remind me of Amazing Spider-Man fiasco.

I know it seems like a great cash grab money cow, but the whole thing seems to be bleeding out both goodwill and profits now. And I said it when footage from the film initially was released, in the long term, Leto’s Joker just doesn’t fit into Snyder’s Batman world. And they are definetly suffering from it now. I might be wrong and we do get a Suicide Squad sequel in 2019, but if it does, it won’t be anywhere as big as the first film was.

They REALLY just need to recast joker, make him semi tolerable and continue on. Leto was a complete failure.

I actually liked Leto's Joker. I just don't think he had much to work with. With a better script (and a mangled edit that doesn't truncate the majority of his scenes), I think he'd be great.

Leto > Ledger.

Leto > Ledger.
But he's doing everything ledger did but worse. That voice and laugh, no scripts are going to fix it.

The juggalo manson thing isn't his fault though

I still remember when Nolan's Batman killed Suicide Squad's Joker.

I dunno, I find his purring and drawn-out laugh less irritating than the tongue thing that Ledger kept doing.

So long as we can agree that Nicholson's the best of the live-action Jokers.

I like my Jokers ugly, older, and deranged.
