Warner DVDs are region coded. I have Friday The 13th (uncut) and The Deer Hunter on DVD from the UK and they are Region 2 PAL discs.

Warner doesn't region code their Blu-rays.

I'm not too sure their SD DVDs are region locked, cause I've heard some personal accounts from friends who've taken Warner DVDs from North America over to the UK (and vice versa) and they play fine over there (and some of them were older catalog ones). As for Blu-rays, all the titles I've seen are region free.

Well, the two mentioned are locked for R2. Now bear in mind that in the Europe and Asia, multi-region players are far more prominent. That could be the reason why the discs work.

Just checked a recent review and The Picture of Dorian Grey from Warner is Region 1, 2, 3, and 4. So they do region code their DVDs. Its just that some have multiple codes instead of none.

So in theory Paramount blus are region free, if thats the case can anyone tell me if the UK releases for Friday the 13th part 2 and 3 are going to be region free? I really don't want to wait for the US release for Parts 2 and 3.
I'm really just making sure because the place holders on this site say region b
