Not sure if anyone has seen this (fan made of course); I think it's quite good. Would love to see something like this.

I've heard enough about the likes and dislikes of TLJ, I believe a real film like this would be a bit more tasteful.

Wow, that is actually quite good. Just the way I imagined. Please make this happen, and make it a serious drama. In fact, I want it to be a major Oscar contender.

Did Uncle Owen know about Obi Wan being Anakin's mentor or was he really the strange old Ben who lives on the outskirts?

What would a Tatooine Obi Wan movie be like? Would it just be 2 hrs. of him talking to Maul's corpse for company and periodically checking on Luke?

This will be the film where they reveal that Padme' faked her death in ROTS, running off with Obi to Tatoine. It will be revealed that Tatoine is where she got it on with Obi, which is where she gave birth to Rey's grandmother, Mara Jade. On one of her secret visits to Alderan to visit a "very young" Leia, Padme will die.

There are lots of things you could explore: keeping Vader off the scent from learning about his children, Obi-Wan trying to convince Owen to have Luke learn the truth, Obi-Wan learning how to become one with the Force in death from Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan potentially having an intimate relationship. There are plenty of intriguing possibilities where this movie could go.

Also remember Obi-Wan telling Luke in ANH "Your father wanted you to have this when you were old enough, but your uncle would never allow it." We could assume from that line that Obi-Wan and Owen came into conflict about what was best for Luke.

If Maul was in this they would have to explain to the general audience how he didn’t really die in Episode 1. Which will be awkward to do since Obi-Wan already knows this and the film will be from his POV.

He knew, also Obi-Wan had his share of troubles on Tatooine in recent comics.
Besides, another option would be a story set during the Clone Wars.

Get Joel Edgerton back as Uncle Owen. Write a couple of scenes where Obi Wan and Owen have a ding dong over Luke's future ("The boy should know the truth about his past." "I won't allow it!"), and it'll be gravy.

I'd like an Obi-Wan and Anakin film instead. Like it or not, we're stuck with Hayden as Anakin, so I'd like to see him have another chance in a film that's not all green screen and has a better director.

Maul returned in The Clone Wars and Rebels. In Rebels, Maul was killed by Obi-Wan in Season 3. That's the tl;dr version.

Considering Owen Lars grew up to be Joel Edgerton, they'd probably want to bring him back in a sizeable role.
