The Terminal on Blu-ray?? - Blu-ray Forum

Has there been any news on this movie???

Not only is the movie quite good, I think the PQ will be amazing on BR. I remember the movie being very white, lots of white from the airport interior, very sterile and clean with pops of colours here and there from the food court neon signs to the little kiosk of the airport. Plus I also wanna see that shot of the long PULL BACK from Hanks on the main floor to the second floor of the airport in HD...that was BEAUTIFUL!

Count me in as well! I can't wait for The Terminal!

In fact, Spielberg needs to hurry the hell up and release all his movies on Blu-ray, because so far, only two of his movies as director (Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and Close Encounters of the Third Kind), are on Blu-ray right now, and that's not enough for us. We want more Spielberg Blus!!

One of my favorite movies ever, one I can watch over and over again. This movie is definitely in the top 10 I want on Blu-ray.

I'm planning on owning every single film, including DUEL which was a TV film but released to theaters, Steven Spielberg has directed on Blu-ray disc. For now I just have a ton of his films in HD downloaded from broadcasts. Still need to catch up for the titles which are released onto Blu-ray of his filmography which I don't own yet.

EDIT: I own the 3-Disc Limited Edition of The Terminal. Two DVDs and the soundtrack. For the Blu-ray disc I'll be using a two-disc Elite case and placing the soundtrack CD as the second disc. Then the DVD set will go into storage.

Yea, I have that same DVD set, was a great special edition purchase!

I am making my own custom cover for The Terminal when it comes out, so will have that waiting for it's eventual real ease!

I did not think it was one of Tom's best movies but I thought it was decent, I am surprised it is not on Blu-ray yet
