When in doubt, head over to user reviews

You can read my review of it, overall it was one of the best comedies of the year and both the pq and aq are quite good. I definitely recommend it

Yes it's a great movie. Very funny. I though the picture and sound were great. It's in 1.85 format so it'll take up the full screen on a 16x9 widescreen tv meaning no black bars.

Wish I knew what the difference was with the unrated version before I watched it. It was pretty funny though I agree, and the PQ & AQ was good as well, so far all of Universals releases have been great IMO

I loved it and have watched it multiple times. You have to be a fan of these types of movies though (40y/o virgin, knocked up, superbad)

I thought the PQ got better as the movie did? the earlier parts of the movie didn't seem good, but once they got to hawaii, it seemed alot better. My wife loved it and I thought it was pretty good as well. We only watched the extended version, so not sure on the theatrical version.

I only watched some of the Blu-ray and that was a while back, but I recall the PQ being pretty good.

As for the movie itself, I saw it in theaters and liked it. But honestly, it felt more like a drama than a comedy at times. Without going into spoilers, the scene late in the movie with Jason Segel and Kristen Bell followed immediately by his conversation with Mila Kunis at the check-in counter were both pretty depressing to watch.

What does that have to do with anything about how good the movie is?

Actually, it's those dramatic moments that makes me love the film even more. It's those scenes, as well as Sarah really laying down the truth to Peter about why she couldn't take it anymore that elevates this far above your typical rom-com crap. It's that equal amount of heart and human emotion mixed in with the raunchy humor that makes anything produced under the Apatow banner so great.

The moment near the end with Peter and Rachel at the check-in counter is actually my favorite moment in the film, since the acting calibre of Mila Kunis truly astounded me. Up until this movie, I would never have given her a moment of consideration, since I thought Jackie on THAT 70'S SHOW is probably the most annoying character of the bunch and I don't get why Meg on FAMILY GUY being constantly shit upon is funny. But in this movie, she was actually charming, and that scene with her controlled and contained rage towards Peter was like seeing Miley Cyrus belt out a bit of Mozart opera. It was seeing a performer completely undervalued bringing all their talent together and blowing everyone out of the water. It was THAT good.

I got it for $12. It wasn't as funny as I expected but was pretty good. My wife enjoyed it so I'm sure we'll watch it again a time or 2. It was just as much chick flick as a comedy IMO whereas Superbad for example was just a comedy.
