Default 20 Must-Have Blu-ray HD Epics

http://www.popularmechanics.com/tech...e/4295511.html

Not a bad list... No Dark Knight though, eh... Still works for me. Oh and I like how Bourne is already on there! Can't Wait!!!

Why would you want Dark Knight on yet another list? Do you think anyone will forget it that easily?

Better list than most I've seen.

Default There is a lot of great Epic's missing

There is a lot of great EPIC's missing from that list.

Such as:

Kingdom of Heaven Directors Cut
Patriot
Troy Directors cut
How the West was Won

To name just a few.
I would consider the above, as must have's for any quality collection.

I guess their definition of an epic is a little different than mine. When I think of an epic,I'm thinking of a huge film with lots of scope.
Braveheart,Doctro Zhivago,Lawrence Of Arabia,Gone With The Wind are a few films I think of as epics.

not today dude: an epic means blow up as many f****ng cars as you can coupled with a lame script and cardboard acting .

and if that doesnt work, bring on the mighty hollywood hype machine

My only problem is the concert with Rolling Stones. I've nothing against the band. It's just music movies shouldn't be included with epics. If anything they should get their own list.

You don't seriously consider "shrug all you like" as getting all huffy do you?It wasn't meant to be.

I love this healthy debate! Don't take offense to anybody guys. Just keep debating. Otherwise we'd all be saying 'good list' and moving on. What fun is that?

BTW, Good list!

I agree with HTWWW as I own that one. Haven't seen the others on your list, so I can't comment on those.

I agree the EPIC list is generally a pretty good list. Makes me wanna watch the ones on it that I don't have, like Baron Munchausen, The Thing, CET3K, 2001, and Bullitt.

I agree with the argument that Stones shouldn't be on the list, but I'd still leave it on the list anyway. I own it and I agree it looks pretty bada$$ on BD.

Wasn't the PQ from Bullitt pretty lackluster? I've got most of those, cept for Bullitt, Robin Hood, Bourne and The Last Emperor.
