i just bought the 350 gave the 300 player to a friend he says it freezes in parts of the movie . is this a common thing?

Yea, this happened me also, latest firmwares dont make a dam difference

not sure about the 350 but on samsung 1400 the volume drops out and occasionaly it stutters
