Wikipedia lists it on its page of 90s comedies, so I’m including it.

Should I try ranking mine based on overall great film that has comedic aspects? Or great films that are what I feel the funniest to watch? Like, Fargo would go over Kingpin as a whole film in my eyes, but Kingpin is the funnier of the two IMO.

The way I see it, a pure comedy delivering the laughs should always be higher. Since comedy is what we're focusing on here.

always the dilemma with these category lists.... I more or less went with movies that have more laughs for me....

Fargo is a great movie and does have some funny scenes but I don't really think of it as a comedy. On the other hand, I included Bride Of Chucky on my list since I laugh hard pretty much throughout and I do consider it to be a comedy....

I'll have no such problem for my top spot, at least, since The Big Lebowski is not only funnier but a better film than anything else which could come up.

Same here. Fargo and Pulp Fiction are superb films and I can see the irony in both stories, but they don't make me laugh. If anything, I consider Fargo a tragedy, and any humor in it just makes it even sadder.

Prepare for the first controversial shots of the thread fired but......

Lebowski was hardly funny to me. Nor was it a good movie. **RUNS**

Thanks in advance. It would be a huge help to make the counting a lot easier.

Can you elaborate and make the rules a bit clearer? How about short films and mini-series? At least one user posted a short film on a list, so this made me wonder. Personally I think short films and mini-series should count, but you are the one who is in charge.
