is that "ultraHD Premium" is that slang now for HDR or is it an official term used by different companies just to confuse us more at this time.

I'm fairly certain "UltraHD Premium Certified" just means the release checks all of the boxes required to be UHD Premium, which includes HDR.

Reminds me of "THX" certification.

They need to cut it out with "UltraHD Premium" logo and just have it added on the plastic wrap as a sticker.

Fox has used the 'Ultra HD Premium' logo on all their 4K UHD releases. I guess it's their "HDR sticker".

Is that steelbook legit? I see a LOT of people claiming the movies are bootleg. A lot of the reviewers saying the movies won't play, has low resolution or audio. A lot of movies complained about are listed by Excel Home Video as the studio? Same as Shape Of Water.

I honestly can't tell if the "site" just has a lot of picky people or if they bootleg stuff like crazy?

There's a guy on eBay that always has the India release stuff. But I'm pretty sure if India's getting a steelbook then more countries will as well.

so, no commentary, no ATMOS, no Dolby Vision for this release,

well what the hell does it have with it on UHD? this is terrible. I don't mean that the movie is bad, because I'm sure it's a good movie, just surprised that those key things are missing.

those are things important to me in a UHD release.

Yeah, what a weird release. This might be the first 4K movie I just buy digitally on the cheap, since the disc is missing all the main features I like to see.

well Fox aint' remixing it, it's the original theatrical audio mix, and as far as Fox is concerned Dolby Vision on UHD's just isn't in the cards

Del Toro refuses to do a commentary because he says the film speaks for itself. The 5.1 mix is the film’s theatrical mix.

There's always a chance I'll grab it on impulse, but it would be super weird for the Oscars to somehow alter my feelings about a movie. Does that actually happen? Especially people around here who should know better?

oh i'll buy the UHD/UV from someone on this site, but I won't buy the UHD disc since those features are not included.
