United Kingdom Vampir Cuadecuc

Help me out folks, I'm not even sure if its a documentary. It was released (I think) in the past year or so, a silent behind the scenes BR disc of one of Christopher Lee's Dracula movies.

I may even be imagining its very existence but I don't think so.

Anyone?

It’s also included as an extra on Severin’s disc of Jess Franco’s Dracula, albeit in SD.

I'm sure it's in HD there too.

Yes, my error. I’m sure the presentation on the Second Run disc is of far better quality though. (I haven’t watched it on the Severin disc yet, but Dracula itself is barely HD!)

There is no UK release of Franco’s Dracula.

It’s Region free though if you feel like importing it. I asked Severin whether they would do a uk disc ages ago and they said somebody else has the uk rights but the never said who.

It's quite possibly with Second Run. Though one would have thought that if it is that they would have released it packaged with Vampir Cuadecuc

To be honest, the better UK labels wouldn't release the master Severin did on Blu-ray, as they know they'd get a lot of complaints. It's not up to scratch though I'm still happy enough to hold on until something better comes along.
