Without getting into specific songs, I'm hoping to see these people/bands at some point:

The Beatles
Led Zeppelin
The Band
Bruce Springsteen
Doobie Brothers
Queen
Huey Lewis & The News

I personally have a mixed taste and probably not in the majority here, but this is what I want.

Any Theory of a Deadman (love their first two CD's and the latest one isn't bad)
The Academy is... first CD this set is amazing and one of the best overall CD's I've listened too. I would sing that CD all the way to the house!
I love Eve 6 (hence the name, so any would be appreciated because I love it all)
I love Bon Jovi and am hoping they come out with a 70 Track Pack for them, please more!
I'm very surprised there is no Nickleback. If you think about it they're about the most popular rock band right now. As long as they picked some good songs I would buy, they have good drum bass in their songs.
There are two songs that I really want Hotel California (Which won't happen) and Sweet Home Alabama. Sweet Home Alabama is one of the best liked songs for anyone. It's rock and country. You can't not like it. I also think Black Magic Woman. If I remember correctly that song rocks.
I'm still waiting for Misery Business by Paramore to get off of the unconfirmed songs. It's an awesome song.
Some Three Days Grace wouldn't be bad, even though their songs are as simple as rice.
Some good GNR would be appreciated
I know there is more, but that's what I got for now.

Are you Canadian by chance? Most of my American friends haven't heard of either Theory of a Deadman, or Three Days Grace (which surprises me a little since I thought Three Days Grace was doing relatively well, down south).

I personally, am still wishfully thinking of a Canadian Track pack which would include...

The Tea Party - My favourite band of all time. I'm thinking "The River" would be awesome.
Bif Naked
The Tragically Hip
Metric
Thornley - Hell I'd even settle for Big Wreck songs even though they were based out of Boston.
Billy Talent
I Mother Earth - Anything from the Edwin days.
Our Lady Peace
Nickelback - I hate to give these guys props, but... "Rock Star" would be appropo.
Theory of a Deadman
Three Days Grace - But as you mentioned, wouldn't be the most complex songs.
Neil Young

I could keep going but then this list would become unweildly....

Ah, what the hell.

Headpins
Randy Bachman - or some BTO, or even some more Guess Who
Sum 41
Default
The Watchmen
Lee Aaron
The Headstones
Econoline Crush
Age of Electric
Moist

Ok, now I'll stop, but there are a great many more great Canadian artists.

I would love to see some Van Halen, Greenday, Nickelback, Pink Floyd, and would also love something like a 1950's Rock and Roll track Pack. It would be nice to play some ShaNaNa, Bill haley and the Comets. Then they could do a 60's pack with lots of Beach Boys, Beatles etc.
Bring it on.......
My wife would love 80's hair bands like Poison, Cinderella, White Lion, Quiet Riot, Slaughter, Extreme.
How about some Collective Soul, Hootie and the Blowfish, Barenaked Ladies. I could go on and on.

Yes, but you are sol if you only have Rock Band 1 (unless you want to shell out the money for Rock Band 2)
Personally, I'd like to be able to download it, since there are only a couple songs on Rock Band 2 that I want. I may end up buying it, but right now I don't want to shell out the extra money for a whole new game for 1 song.

No I'm not Canadian. I know most people havn't heard of Theory Of A Deadman. It's a disgrace because they're quite awesome. If more people knew about them they would be a lot bigger. I suggest anyone reading this to go to like Amazon MP3 downloads and just listen to some of their songs. Their two new songs that kick ass are Bad Girlfriend and So Happy. I would love to sing and play guitar with those songs. I would be rockin out so hardcore! By the way I didn't know Theory of a Deadman and Three Days Grace were Canadian, but that's because it doesn't matter, just rock! Hope the link works.
