Elvira - Mistress of the Dark is coming from Arrow - Blu-ray Forum

The date has not been set, but will be released sometime this year. At least it's coming from a distributor that actually knows how to put something together without constantly blaming glue. Extras aren't confirmed, though they might have the special features that were collected for the previously announced fiasco product that was planned for release last spring...err summer...err fall. I lost track of the release dates.

I'm glad Arrow is doing this! I enjoy the movie, and my GF has been an Elvira fan since she was eight or so. So this will be an instant preorder!

great news! hopefully at a regular affordable prize, I was not going to get the other one I think it was at 40 plus something euros? too much for Elvira , eventhough is one of my favorite comedies ever.

Well, for one bright side, it'll be cheaper than that 40 bucks the german guys were asking. And it may not have the original extras that were planned, but Arrow will load it up with stuff (assuming they don't go after that content).

This pleases me.

So glad Arrow got this - I was also embroiled in the German "glue" fiasco....
Hope they were able to get the documentary planned for the German release.

Weird...I logged on here this morning and I was going to go to the wishlist thread to see if anybody had anything new about this. I was shocked (and delighted) when I saw this thread.

A few years ago, I built the plastic Elvira kit from Moebius models...a flashback to the 1960s when boys built monster models (and the 1960s were the last time I was a boy

I wonder if our old friend will be back to rant at all of us again? Hope so. He was funny. Remember his insistence that this film will NEVER be released at a normal price point, only as an overpriced special edition? I've got a bet that Arrow will price it reasonably.
