Red Rock West should be there.

Also, there's no "h" in his name.

The Rock while good, Nicholas Cage wasn't weird back then like he's been for the past 10 years up to today

Cage has been "weird" since the very beginning of his career. see: Peggy Sue Got Married.

I happen to love Cage, who's always watchable even in the most dire of films...and don't forget to catch his cameo in the trailer for Werewolf Women of the SS!

Matchstick Men is a must. Adaptation and Lord of War too. And just for fun, cause it is enjoyable at least : The Weather Man.

I didn't realize no one had already mentioned Kick-Ass. That definitely has to be one of them. It's probably the last great film he made, before his descent into churning out a long string of shitty straight to video paychecks.

Leaving Las Vegas
Matchstick Men
Face/Off
Con Air
The Rock
8MM
Kick-Ass
Moonstruck
The Weather Man
Rumble Fish
Red Rock West
Wild at Heart

Cage also has a small role in Oliver Stone's criminally underrated Snowden that is a must see as well.

Cage has more good movies than I think a lot of people now would give him credit for. He has others that I've enjoyed, but I consider these essential:

Valley Girl
Birdy
Raising Arizona
Moonstruck
Wild at Heart
Red Rock West
Leaving Las Vegas
Bringing Out the Dead
Adaptation
Matchstick Men
National Treasure
Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans
Kick-Ass

For me personally I would go:
Face/Off
Bad Lieutenant
Adaptation
Wickerman (for some laughs)
Bringing out the dead
8MM
and Kickass

Urban Dictionary:

Zeus's Butthole

Mentioned in the movie The Rock. Apparently, something of great significance and importance; possibly that from which all of Creation is derived.

"...how in the name of Zeus's BUTTHOLE did you escape from your cell?!"
