If that interior was color, it'd be a great steelbook. Instead it's only pretty good.

Too bad no 3D on this though. I already have the 3D but for those that didn't get the nice lenticular slipcover this would be a great alternative to store it in. I'm still mighty tempted.

Ordered 6 steelbooks awhile back...all were sent in a large cardboard envelope...all damaged...complained to them and they re-sent with a promise that they would be shipped in a box. Of course they were in the same cardboard envelope...all damaged worse than the first shipment...I have no luck with them! All the Amazons seem to be using the cardboard envelopes now but Italy is cursed for me.

Just an anecdote but lately when I order just one steel it comes in a envelope but no damage. When I order 5 they still come in an envelope but all come damaged. I’m guessing greater impact force due to the greater mass of the package. F=ma

Decided to give them another try....ordered 5 steelbooks (4 pre-orders) used the gift wrapped option so hopefully that will protect them during shipping.

No word on the other Laika releases? Would be nice to have steels for Paranorman, Coraline and Boxtrolls as well along with this one.

just a cardboard mailer, thinner than zavvi but thicker than best buy. They have mailed to me in a box in the past but i've been unlucky recently.

No...but the box is what I’m hoping will add some protection. Hoping for the best but their shipping will probably find a way to screw up.
