Default Movies that Get WORSE with Subsequent Viewings

I know that there is a post for movies that get BETTER with a second or third viewing, but what about a movie that has gotten WORSE with a second or third viewing?

One that comes to my mind (for me, at least) is Billy Jack. I remember seeing it in theaters as a teen and thinking it was the greatest movie ever. After watching it as an adult some years later, I could not believe how bad it was. Catching glimpses of it through the years, it just gets worse every time I see it.

Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.

It actually is an awful movie, but people get blinded by nostalgia.

Agreed. One of Costner's worst.

I disagree. I actually liked the Guy Ritchie version a lot more upon second viewing, after I knew what to expect (and what NOT to expect)

Batman v Superman for me. I really enjoyed it on my first viewing and then I watched it twice more and probably won't watch it again.

Well there are a few, but one that comes instantly to my mind is Convoy with Kris Kristofferson. I was about 12 or 13 years old when I saw this and thought at the time what a great film it was. Having watched it again recently, and we're talking some 35 years after originally watching it, I have to say my opinion of the film has changed somewhat.

I find that Nolan's films don't stand up to repeat viewings.

Sometimes I love a movie at the theatre that I’m reluctant to read message boards or watch it again in a hurry in case I spot a flaw I hadn’t noticed. I want to preserve the feeling of enjoyment.

The opposite happened for bvs. I read some convincing posts muddled in with all the criticism and really gave the extended cut the benefit of the doubt. On home video release I gave it a watch. It was worse on.

Wow....that film was a hot mess. There is no getting any worse than viewing number 1

Wonder Woman - now that we have some space from the hype about cultural and gender milestones and can judge the movie by its own merits, it definitely isnt as good as everyone thought (though still pretty good for 2/3 of it)

Raimi's Spider-Man films

Several (but not all) Pixar films (Bugs Life, Monsters Inc, Ratatouille, Inside Out, Up... to name a few)

again, none of these are bad movies - just not as good as they seemed upon their original releases

Sicario. Emily Blunt's character annoys the hell out of me and it makes each viewing deteriorate for me unfortunately.

I found Suicide Squad to be worse the second time. I was kind of forgiving the first viewing, even though I knew it was a mess, but the second time, all if it's flaws were so glaring.

Braveheart gets cornier every time I watch it.

...Mel Gibson should've been charged with multiple felony counts of overacting and sappy dialogue.

My first time seeing them I saw their flaws but was willing to forgive and overlook them. The more I watch them, the more I see just how the good parts are the minority and how bad they truly are.
