That's great to hear. Can't wait to watch this on Netflix tonight.

As you know, theatrical screenings of @mute set to be incredibly limited, as the film is a Netflix release, but... one very, VERY special screening of MUTE coming up in LA on the evening of the 22nd. Join me & @rianjohnson for a Q&A after!

This is getting slaughtered by critics. Still looking forward to it.

Just read the review from The Guardian. Wow. Brutal.

Still want to watch and hopefully enjoy this.

Critic reviews of this are super disheartening since I've waited so long for this movie, not that it's gonna stop me from watching because I love Jones. I still loved Warcraft despite all its negative press haha so hopefully I enjoy this too when I get to watch it after work.

Too many movies and TV Series to watch for me to loose time and money in a lost cause. Plot is nice. Cast looks dope.

"Moon" is definitely one of the best genre-films of all time, imo. Although "Source Code" wasn't bad at all, it was an underwhelming experience. Not half as smart as I hoped for. I thought"Warcraft" was OK too, especially after all those terrible reviews. I was hoping for "Mute" to be a great one again ... Curious.

Source Code was made with a wider, mainstream audience in mind and should be measured in that context. And in that context it succeeded. It tends to be praised by the causal sci-fi fans.

Mute is not going to appeal to mainstream audiences, and therefore won’t appeal to the critics who cater to the mainstream.

Maybe look up what something being a fluke means.

Mute has been panned across the board by critics, most of whom prefer more in unusual films which don’t cater to the mainstream.

This was the passion project the director has been trying to make for over 10 years? The story doesn't seem like something that one would be that attached to or obsessed with. It's rather... meh.
The film looks great, and Skarsgard and Rudd work for me, but the rest of the movie itself didn't do much for me. 3/5

I'm aware that Moon is his most admired film by far, but it left me cold (and my dislike of Sam Rockwell certainly didn't improve things). Source Code, on the other hand, both in concept and execution, was exhilarating.

Just finished watching it, agree with this. Not a disaster but not something i'm looking to revisit.

Paul Rudd as Cactus Bill was the highlight for me.

I'm bummed to see the poor reception so far, but I'll judge this for myself tonight.

I was like the exact opposite of this.
