Fandango Now - SD to HD - Blu-ray Forum

I purchased a movie on Vudu that was only offered in SD. FN now has the title in HD. It's UV, so if I purchase the HD at FN it will port to my UV has HD, and to Vudu whenever they add the HD. My problem is, I can't seem to purchase the HD on FN, as it says I own it in SD. If I logout I see you can purchase it in HD, when I go to buy it and login, nothing, says I already own it in SD. How do I get around this?

Unlink FandangoNow from UV. Then you should be able to purchase it. Option 2: delete the movie from myuv.com.

Do NOT unlink. Delete from UV would be your better option. If you unlink you won't be able to relink until contacting UV and having them correct it for you.

I can delete it from MyUV, but it stays in my Vudu since it was a M2D purchase. Would removing it just from MyUV clear it from FN?

FN and Vudu are completely separate so it should remove from Fandangonow if you delete it from myuv. It might take a little time to be removed though. It will never remove from the Vudu account you bought it from. It will just show SD and HDX owned when you get it through FN.

Yep once the UV rights are deleted Vudu won't issue new rights unless you repurchase. So it would then remove from FN as its no longer in the UV locker. Then buying you will get the HD UV rights from FN and it will port to Vudu.

Okay, I am back again with the same question, but now the title in question will be going into my MA account since FN no longer gives UV rights on new purchases?

So, I bought the title in SD on Vudu, it's in my UV and FN accounts as SD. I want to buy it on either Amazon, FN, GP or iTunes since they all have in HD. Would it then port to my MA as HD and overwrite the SD in my MA?
