Shout Factory release the Unrated version of Uli Edel's Madonna-starring erotic thriller BODY OF EVIDENCE (1993) this June:

I never got the hots for Madonna, so this is an easy pass. But had Julianne Moore been in the top spot instead...big maybe, regardless of the script.

As I recall it from being a horny teenager, Moore's one sex scene is way hotter than any of Madonna's.

Surprisingly, I've never seen this. Which is odd, because I love Julianne Moore, and I certainly don't mind Madonna, either. However, I'm pretty pissed to learn that Anne Archer used a body double, but apparently tried to take credit for doing the nudity herself, which is really not cool. Also, damn Scientology for making her a nutcase, because I have always thought she was gorgeous, too.

Unsurprisingly, with this much sex and nudity, the film will nevertheless go in my collection.

I doubt SHOUT will get a new Madonna interview for a bonus feature sadly.

I recall seeing the unrated cut years ago. It felt like a racy R rated scandalous Lifetime movie... and in that respect it was delicious junk food.

No matter what its better than the 50 Shades films!

I've been rooting for a Sliver (1993) release from Shout! for ages now... Despite it probably never happening, I can now dream without feeling like a total idiot!

Oh, and despite the trash this movie is, the trailer is a work of art.

I'd be down for getting some saucy outtake footage on there, like more of the videotaped scene where Madge is riding the old dude like a bucking bronco. Uh, purely for scientific reasons of course.

Exactly. Say what you want about Verhoven (and I'm not really that much of a fan, to be honest) but he definitely brings something to a trashy movie that looks easy to replicate but the knockoffs always look like knockoffs.

Not necessarily bad knockoffs, mind you. But there's some always some undefinable 'something' missing.

I did some...things...back in the day in response to her in the "Like A Prayer" video.

The black hair and matching lingerie did it for me.
