So you're NEW TO 3D, have found the blu ray forum, and you are wondering what is out there in the world as to 3d blu rays, or just want something a little off the beaten track. Well here is a list(SHOWN BELOW BY CLICKING ON THE SHOW SPOILER BELOW) of what I have so far compiled. Here is what the list tells you. The list of approximately 800 titles tells you 1. that the title is indeed a 3d blu ray movie and that I can vouch that it has 3d properties. 99% IN MY OPINION, are worth watching. But by that I mean for the 3d effects not content or the storyline; that is your call. I just want you to know that the movie has some good 3d properties, and 2. if it says NOT english friendly it has neither english language soundtrack nor english subtitle, otherwise it will have either english subtitles or english soundtrack.

So you found a title on my list that interests you, and you know that it is indeed an english friendly, 3d blu ray, but you say to yourself, how good is the 3d? Ok, that's where the next 2 lists come in really handy. ***Word of Caution, there are a few titles such as Bigfoot Junior that are english friendly but only released in certain areas, as is the case for Bigfoot Junior only having a friendly english version from Australia. So do your own due diligence, especially on the animated features, and confirm that the feature is english friendly. I have put an asterick beside the ones I know you should be careful about.

If you find the title you are looking for on his list of native 3d movies it was filmed in real and not fake 3d, meaning in most cases the 3d will be more 3d. Of course this doesn't so much apply to hollywood movies as they do really good conversions, but they for the most part are not real 3d. Almost all big hollywood movies will show you a good 3d time.

Secondly take a look at the list by Zivouhr, that shows the 3d effects in the movies. If it is on this list and has some medium, strong or extreme 3d get ready for a good time. This is found in this thread:

Lastly, if you do not have a region free 3d blu ray player, you should get one. Then you won't need my next list(except for autoconversions, explained shortly), and you can get one for $150.00 or so, and you can watch any of the 3d movies in the world with it. But if finances won't allow or you just like being tied to one region, go to this thread by the13thman, found below:

It shows region a and b titles(Asia and Us) only, and region free discs(meaning your machine can play it) and lastly AUTOCONVERSIONS(TO AVOID) by the13th man. Germany REALLY loves 3d movies and so they convert some pretty good movies into some pretty bad 3d movies. Don't buy them thinking you are going to get good 3d effects. Stay away from these movies unless you think the movie might be cool to watch, and you realize the 3d will suck.

One piece of advice I would add to the above is to please please please use the search facility in forums and threads. Advanced Search is very good!

The 3D movies forum will already have a dedicated thread for every 3D movie, so if you have a question about a particular movie, please find its thread and ask there, rather than creating new threads.

Equally, there are dedicated forums now for 3D TVs / 3D Glasses / 3D Projectors and 3D Players so if you have any questions relating to those, please ask there.

I've got about 20-25 titles for your list. I'll try to post them shortly, as I need to go through your list again to avoid any duplications. Just a hunch on my part and with no evidence to back it up, but I think your list will grow well beyond 700.

Well alright!!! Now that's what I am talking about. That would be wonderful. I really want to try and get us a good list of the 3d blu rays out there worth having. Maybe if we just get a few new converts hooked who already have 3d tvs it might one day make the difference. Can't hurt right?

Simply unbelievable.

3d will now never die. It can't. That is just too many features to ignore. If anybody says 3d is dead just le'em know there are 750 3d blu ray features out there. End of argument.

Except for the fact there are ZERO televisions being made with 3D in the United States anymore and fewer and fewer projectors. I LIKE 3D and I DONT want to see it end at all......but I am very afraid it will (at least in the USA). I TRULY hope not but it seems like I have to continually buy more and more overseas 3D releases on the newer movies to get them...this is particularly true for Disney (Marvel, Lucasfilm, etc) as Guardians of the Galaxy 2 was the last 3D USA release (and you had to buy the Best Buy 4K/3D steelbook to get it). My opinion (even though the studios could give a rats ass what I think) is that the studios shouldn’t make us ONLY have the choice of 4K or 3D blu-ray. My experience is collectors tend to want BOTH (and isn’t it interesting that the Best Buy steelbook it GOTG2 had BOTH the 4K AND the 3D disc in it and was instantly sold out everywhere). HINT HINT studios.....we still want 3D AND 4K! and what “genius” made the decision that we can’t have 3D ON a a 4K disc? If you are showing 3D 4K in the movie theaters then OF COURSE we should be able to buy that when it is released on disc but yet we don’t get that chance? Yet you can re-release the same version of a movie like 20 times on blu-ray by constantly repackaging it? I don’t need 10 different packages of The Big Lebowski! I need Black Panther 3D, Deadpool 2 3D, Avengers Infinity Wars 3D, etc....I saw them in my USA movie theaters in 3D yet i’m forced to buy the 3D Europe discs (and hope they are region free or have a region free bluray player to play them). Ridiculous? ABSOLUTELY! I am continually frustrated when I see NO 3D version offered in the USA but release #12 of the same damn movie just in different “anniversary packaging”. And this will only get worse as more and more americans get 4K large TVs that no longer have ANY 3D capability (not ONE manufacturer makes a 3D flatscreen anymore in the USA and not everyone wants to spend $10,000+ on a 4k/3D projector just so they can enjoy Avatar, Titanic, Black Panther, etc in 3D in their home).

I’m sorry but I’m pissed that we are losing 3D as I love it as most of you do. It’s still HUGE in China by the way....and still big in US theaters..yet NOT on home video? Makes Zero sense

Thank you for the list. Can you vouch that all these xxx rated movies are blu rays? I have found some of them but can't find all of them.

I wasn't sure how to do catwalk poison(I have these) as they have no real titles, but they are good 3d so I will add one way or another. And I don't know why I put Jailbait, I meant Jailhouse Heat; you can tell where my mind was can't you. Ha.ha. Great 3d by the way!!

I do believe these should be added if they are blu rays, as xxx in 3d can be a real hoot sometimes!!

From one 3d fanatic to another, it was a labor of love. I do appreciate the thank you. It goes a very long way.

I had no idea when I started this it would be so educational nor so uplifting. I have accepted the idea that the world has largely turned its back on 3d. So be it. I no longer care. I have over 750 features, shorts and documentaries that are testament to the fact that 3d is not dead but more importantly will never die. And that is what makes so many people mad; for some reason or another they are unable to enjoy 3d and so they are angry and cannot understand our love for it. It infuriates them. And even more than that they hate the fact that no one can now take it away from us. They are too late.

Think of how we would have felt in the 1950s if you were 12 years old and just watched The Creature from the Black Lagoon when it first came out? Then nothing basically.....for 30 years! Never again. We have over 750 features, shorts and documentaries that can never be taken from us thanks to blu ray. And that is what upsets the movie industry so much. They can no longer control 3d. For it is the greatest thing ever to come to home entertainment. Period. And it now belongs to us, not them.

QUEEN'S CORGI MINISCULE 2 "work in progress" please excuse any errors and fact not alphabetized and not added to completed list below yet So you're NEW TO 3D, have found the blu ray forum, and you are wondering what is out there in the world as to 3d blu rays, or just want something a little off the beaten track. Well here is a list(SHOWN BELOW BY CLICKING ON THE SHOW SPOILER BELOW) of what I have so far compiled. Here is what the list tells you. The list of approximately 800 titles tells you 1. that the title is indeed a 3d blu ray movie and that I can vouch that it has 3d properties. 99% IN MY OPINION, are worth watching. But by that I mean for the 3d effects not content or the storyline; that is your call. I just want you to know that the movie has some good 3d properties, and 2. if it says NOT english friendly it has neither english language soundtrack nor english subtitle, otherwise it will have either english subtitles or english soundtrack. So you found a title on my list that interests you, and you know that it is indeed an english friendly, 3d blu ray, but you say to yourself, how good is the 3d? Ok, that's where the next 2 lists come in really handy. *Word of Caution, there are a few titles such as Bigfoot Junior that are english friendly but only released in certain areas, as is the case for Bigfoot Junior only having a friendly english version from Australia. So do your own due diligence, especially on the animated features, and confirm that the feature is english friendly. I have put an asterick beside the ones I know you should be careful about. The first is by HDGoofut found here called Native 3ds in the sticky section: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=207219 If you find the title you are looking for on his list of native 3d movies it was filmed in real and not fake 3d, meaning in most cases the 3d will be more 3d. Of course this doesn't so much apply to hollywood movies as they do really good conversions, but they for the most part are not real 3d. Almost all big hollywood movies will show you a good 3d time. Secondly take a look at the list by Zivouhr, that shows the 3d effects in the movies. If it is on this list and has some medium, strong or extreme 3d get ready for a good time. Then you won't need my next list(except for autoconversions, explained shortly), and you can get one for $150.00 or so, and you can watch any of the 3d movies in the world with it. But if finances won't allow or you just like being tied to one region, go to this thread by the13thman, found below: It shows region a and b titles(Asia and Us) only, and region free discs(meaning your machine can play it) and lastly AUTOCONVERSIONS(TO AVOID) by the13th man. Germany REALLY loves 3d movies and so they convert some pretty good movies into some pretty bad 3d movies. Don't buy them thinking you are going to get good 3d effects. With Rampage, Ready Player One, Star Wars: Solo, Revenge of the Creature and 2 IMAX features we will achieve: Over 750 3d blu rays that are worth watching!!! Simply unbelievable. 3d will now never die. It can't. That is just too many features to ignore. If anybody says 3d is dead just le'em know there are 750 3d blu ray features out there. I LIKE 3D and I DONT want to see it end at all......but I am very afraid it will (at least in the USA). I TRULY hope not but it seems like I have to continually buy more and more overseas 3D releases on the newer movies to get them...this is particularly true for Disney (Marvel, Lucasfilm, etc) as Guardians of the Galaxy 2 was the last 3D USA release (and you had to buy the Best Buy 4K/3D steelbook to get it). My opinion (even though the studios could give a rats ass what I think) is that the studios shouldn’t make us ONLY have the choice of 4K or 3D blu-ray. My experience is collectors tend to want BOTH (and isn’t it interesting that the Best Buy steelbook it GOTG2 had BOTH the 4K AND the 3D disc in it and was instantly sold out everywhere). HINT HINT studios.....we still want 3D AND 4K! and what “genius” made the decision that we can’t have 3D ON a a 4K disc? If you are showing 3D 4K in the movie theaters then OF COURSE we should be able to buy that when it is released on disc but yet we don’t get that chance? Yet you can re-release the same version of a movie like 20 times on blu-ray by constantly repackaging it? I don’t need 10 different packages of The Big Lebowski! I need Black Panther 3D, Deadpool 2 3D, Avengers Infinity Wars 3D, etc....I saw them in my USA movie theaters in 3D yet i’m forced to buy the 3D Europe discs (and hope they are region free or have a region free bluray player to play them). Ridiculous? ABSOLUTELY! I am continually frustrated when I see NO 3D version offered in the USA but release #12 of the same damn movie just in different “anniversary packaging”. And this will only get worse as more and more americans get 4K large TVs that no longer have ANY 3D capability (not ONE manufacturer makes a 3D flatscreen anymore in the USA and not everyone wants to spend $10,000+ on a 4k/3D projector just so they can enjoy Avatar, Titanic, Black Panther, etc in 3D in their home). I’m sorry but I’m pissed that we are losing 3D as I love it as most of you do. It’s still HUGE in China by the way....and still big in US theaters..yet NOT on home video? Makes Zero sense
