Just noticed when I was browsing my history on Youtube that there was a "purchased" link that had a number next to it that surprised me. When I clicked it I noticed it had all of my digital movies there. Is this a result of the Movie Anywhere? So far this has been my favorite place for it to port just out of convenience in the fact that I now have my digital library portable but I can cast it to any smart device whose wifi I am on.

If you’ve linked Movies Anywhere (or Disney Movies Anywhere in the past) to Google Play, then Google Play also appears on your YouTube account.

ive never linked my movies to anything youtube related.
infact, my youtube account has a completely different email than my vudu, etc. ive noticed this about 2 yrs ago. when I purchase a movie from google play, it auto transfers to my youtube purchases account. I like it, because I use apple tv, so I can access all my iTunes movies, and google play movies. (only bad thing is my apple tv doesn't have VUDU app) |

It is not a result of Movies Anywhere.
I noticed over a year ago that all my Disney movies were linked and viewable on my YouTube account. Noticed back then like you did with the number next to purchases and when i clicked all my Disney movies were there. Again I noticed this a while ago, way before movies anywhere. I think it was a result of having iTunes linked to google play. I had an iTunes account and google play account at the time but only iTunes was linked to my DMA. I did have iTunes n google play linked though. So all my Disney iTunes was viewable. |

Same here. I originally freaked out because I saw a high number next to purchases and thought I had been scammed somehow lol. I was happy to not only see that I wasnt scammed but also that I had a much more convenient way to watch my movies since I can cast over wifi to any smart device, an option I do not have with the others.

From my experience: my YouTube account used to have just all my Disney movies from DMA. Thought that was a neat perk of DMA that the others didn't have. Right after Movies Anywhere started and I set up my account, sure enough, my entire MA collection was there. I don't have iTunes either, so it couldn't have been that. |

I don't understand why they don't just fold the two together similar to Amazon and their Prime service. Add Family Sharing for videos to YouTube along with the option for 5.1 audio, YouTube already has 4K.
