I'll play this as long as it's boots on the ground. Also, Activision needs to learn about Roman numerals.

Very shocked to see it's releasing almost a full month before every other CoD has released. More than likely avoiding Red Dead Redemption 2 and the new Battlefield.

Lmfao that stupid title though. It's obviously Tallymarks and not Roman numerals, but man does it look dumb.

Oct? Holy sh-t thats early for a CoD game. I wonder how that will change the release schedule for some games bc everyone is conditioned to expect it in Nov

I applaud them for listening to people and going back to boots on the ground and WWII for the last one, but while I enjoyed the SP campaign I was left underwhelmed with MP. I think I've just reached that stage where I don't really enjoy CoD MP any more. Even MW:R didn't do that much for me.

Hope this is a good one and that people enjoy it though. I'll probably wait for RDR2 myself.

Treyarch has always been garbage besides their zombies... The graphics are cartoonish and the guns sound like rattlesnakes.

I still might get this because i enjoy playing ww2 every now and then online with friends so guess this is the next installment of a ruined franchise. However at least they went away from the super futuristic trash.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is the only reason Call of Duty is releasing a month early. GTA 5 has only sold over 90 million copies and Red Dead is Rockstars 2nd biggest franchise. Red Dead 2 is gonna own this fall.

Man, i always say im not going to buy the new CODs, but i always get so excited when the new ones are announced. I would say hopefully this ones comes with a WaW remaster, but at this point i dont think i want one since theyll probably ruin it with supply drops like with MW :/

As much as I am enjoying WW2, I do agree with you. In the long term maybe a very fresh approach is needed.

I think they all but admitted they're done with it after the failure that was Infinite warfare. I think the sales had gone down so drastically each crappy futuristic game that they've finally scrapped it.

It wasn’t even recognisable as COD. Just awful.

Any futuristic setting for the CoD franchise is done and dusted, with CoD:WW2 being a clear signal that it was over. Treyarch get to return to the Gulf-War era setting of Black Ops 2 and continue Alex Mason's story without fear of ever treading on the techno-future nonsense that sank the franchise.

Wouldn't shock me, COD always goes for what is trending. Would be laughable imo
