Is the option to Hide purchases in iTunes gone? - Blu-ray Forum

When I opened iTunes today I noticed that every movie I had hidden was back in my iTunes library. Now when I try to hide them again, they reappear a few seconds later. When I "View My Account" there is no longer a "View Hidden Purchases" option anywhere to be found. Is anyone else having this or had this problem before? My iTunes version is 12.7.3.46.

There is something very wrong at the moment. In my TV show section in iTunes, I currently only see items I had hidden (extras I'm not interested in etc.), while the non-hidden episodes are gone. Probably just a glitch.

I knew it had to be a broader issue! In the space of watching a single episode of The Office, my TV series and Movies count had increased! All my previously hidden shows, movies and music are showing again for some reason.

Not sure what the problem is, but I hope it is fixed soon. I hid these things for a reason.

This just happened to me as well. Was there are change in policy or is this a glitch? What the hell is going on?

Spoke too soon. iTunes just refreshed my library and now all the hidden items are back and the option to manage hidden items in the account settings is gone again. Crazy.

Interestingly enough in the movies section some of the old downloadable extras showed up again that aren't supposed to be available anymore ...

Maybe they are trying to fix the MA to iTunes 4K glitch

Just came here to ask about this myself... Showing up on iTunes 12.6, 11.3, ATV 3 and 4...

I have duplicate copies of several movies, and it's tricky to remember which ones I want to hide, so I hope it fixes itself...

It be nice if this glitch could accidentally upgrade the last few SD movies I have to HD. That'd be a nice "opps".

Hmmm, still going on. Duplicates of Dreamworks titles and others. Option to hide them and view hidden purchases are there but they keep coming back to the library.....Hopefully they are working on something big!
Pun: This is like a Nightmare, or Dreamworks if you will, that will not go away! LOL

Mine just fixed itself about an hour ago... All my duplicate DreamWorks titles re-hid themselves... Might be fixed, or might be temporary....

Apple implemented a new feature codenamed "guilt". They want to make sure you see all the movies you wasted your money on and no longer watch.

Mine's still not fixed. I see the View Hidden Purchases option under My Account now, and the movies I had previously hidden are listed there but, they are still showing up in my library as well. When I try to re-hide them, they immediately reappear.

I even tried un-hiding everything and the re-hide them, still not working. The ones I have tried to re-hide show up under "View Hidden Purchases" but, also still show up in my iTunes library.

This is annoying!

Interesting development...

Hidden purchases don't appear to be showing on the Apple TV anymore, but are showing on the PC and iPad. Weird!

Also, the view "all purchases" in a specific TV series on the Apple TV is no longer working for some reason... connected maybe?

Mine seems to be back to normal now. I was able to get everything hidden again and, so far, they have not reappeared.
