Need Speaker Advice, just got Onkyo 606 Receiver - Blu-ray Forum

Hello Audiophiles,

I am very new to the home stereo world, and need some advice. I'm on a tight $300.00 budget for the speakers, but I don't know what to get. I'm looking at either:

ACHT-200 5.1 Home Theater Speakers

Polk Audio RM6750 Black 5.1CH Home Theater Speaker System

Got any other suggestions???

Not sure about ACHT but I have a set of Polk's and I am very happy with them..

but...a little more expensive

Cadence 5.0 setup, $300 - I hear they make excellent subwoofers, and their speakers get great reviews as an entry level set on AVSforums.

Certainly a change from the Polk RM, Klipsch Quintet, and Energy Satellite sets recommended oftenly.

new egg has the M50's and M30's on sale.. if u go over budget a little u can get the CS1 and those speakers for like $380
