At some point someone actually thought this was a good idea. That's the hardest thing to believe of it all.

Yeah but it wont matter since the movie will probably draw about 17 people total to go see it anyways. What an utterly useless idea. Not even direct to video - more like direct to garbage bin.

Good Luck wiht this.

The Scooby gang started together and not before each other so this makes no sense. Also they got a prequel live action film of when they started.

Apparently this will be direct to video and will be out on May 22. There is a trailer in the link as well. Looks awful as expected. Could only get through 40 seconds of the trailer before I closed it.

How the hell did Scooby Doo become one of the longest running franchises ever?

It was rated (a rare live action G rating) a little while ago, so the film is finished and the May 22 release shouldn't be a problem for it to reach.

Because parents will plop their kids in front of anything, and really little kids have low standards.

I mean, I understand watching Scooby-Doo forty years ago when there were three networks and nothing else was on, but with so much great content aimed at kids these days, there's no excuse to keep re-hashing something that was so limited in scope to begin with.

Basically Hanna-Barbera’s mission statement. Even Jay Ward cartoons were still fun to watch despite the poor animation because of its wit and self-depreciation, none of which I can find in Scooby Doo, Flintstones, etc.

Well, it was more the response to that.

Don't get me wrong: I'm not saying this looks good or even watchable. I'm just saying that a couple lines were giggle-worthy.
