Default Who does NY Times crossword?

Do you do it every day?

I've been doing the Sunday, since I've been a kid (using references, of course) when it was syndicated in the Detroit News or Free Press. I've been subscribing to the online version for years now. I only do Fridays and Saturdays and Sundays, because the rest are usually a waste of time, and Sundays are usually only interesting until you figure out the theme.

Is there a more challenging tradtional American style crossword out there on a regular basis other than NYT? They're great on the laptop at breakfast time.

I get the 365 day crossword calendar by NY Times, and pick up one of their books whenever I go on vacation.

I have to stick to Easy Crosswords, if I want to complete them.

I was never good at crossword puzzles, for some reason, and I'd like to think it doesn't mean I'm dumb.

I used to do crosswords in French (sorry not specifically New-york Times crosswords). But I haven't in the longest time.

I only have a paper delivered on Saturday and Sunday, as I don't have time during the week and get most news online. My Toronto Star has 2 crosswords on Saturday and 1 on Sunday. I do them faithfully and usually while watching my Saturday morning EPL soccer games on Setanta Sports. I find them very relaxing and can work on them for an hour or so and then come back to them later that day.

No, there is a certain way to them. You really can't interpret the clues literally. My wife can't do them. I can't do British style (cryptic) crosswords. They are a different animal.

I wish NYT had an iPhone app for crosswords. It can't be that far away.

2 Across, a very fine crosswords app supports NYT premium crossword subscriptions.
