My most expensive single bd was the UHD Thor Ragnarok from Disney Movie Club, but I gotta overpay for something to meet the commitment. If we go all movies the max was $80 for Transformers the Movie on laserdisc.

For a single disc...$70 for the Jason Goes to Hell/Jason X double feature. I'm so ashamed. Lol! Not really.

$38.99 Canadian. (Of course, the price went down to $35 about a month later.)

About £100 delivered for the Criterion Zatoichi set, though my wife paid for it as a birthday gift.

For a single movie it was close to £50 for the Synapse Suspiria Steelbook delivered. Probably my favourite horror movie, so worth it for me

R$100 for the 3D Man of Steel BD. That'd be roughly US$29 dollars.

Probably the more expensive MCU steelbooks, which were about $80 or so. Most expensive box set was probably The Hobbit Extended 3D, which was about $120.

I think the most I’ve paid is for the complete X-Files collection. It was probably about $125-$150 or so at the time.

Not counting box sets, the most I have paid for a single BD is GBP £53, for the Japanese Stingray edition of Sam Peckinpah’s The Osterman Weekend:

Expensive because I had to order it via CDJapan’s proxy shopping service, as the label does not ship outside of Japan.

Laser disc used to run me $25-35. The most I have spent for a single blu-ray is probably $35 or $40. But, you have to factor in shipping as part of that cost. Now, the most expensive Blu-ray box set I have bought was a Japanese Ultraman set for around $135 inc shipping. However, the most I have spent was on the Blu-ray/dvd/cd/vinyl set of Pink Floyd’s The Early Years. That was a hard pill to swallow at a little over $400 (inc shipping).

I came close to doing the same or more for that movie, but then I read that the Australian release was the same transfer and it was region free. It also happens to be the most expensive Blu-Ray I've bought, at around $20. It's a nice transfer and I'm very happy with it. Thunderbolt and Lighfoot is a great movie and a favorite from my youth.

Great movie, a favorite of mine, but I paid $9 new and sold the included DVD for $5.

Couldn't find it any cheaper at the time of purchase. Should have been more patient.

Honestly, I was prepared to pay a bit more for this one as its one of my all-time favorite movies.
I saw House on Sorority Row when it came out in the theater. I thought about buying the Blu-Ray when it was released but I couldn't remember if I actually enjoyed it or not, where as I enjoyed movies such as An American Werewolf in London and the first two Friday the 13th movies.

An American Werewolf in London is a classic and my favourite screen werewolf.

I wanted to get the most recent anniversary Blu-ray edition but passed because the original mono audio was (again) absent.

The most I paid for a single film release was the SYNAPSE restoration of Suspiria - $100.00 AUD

The most I paid for a Blu-ray box set was The X-Files complete collection - $235.00 AUD
