Not Best Buy, from what everyone here seems to do, is purchasing the movies from Amazon.

Enjoy your PS3

I use Amazon.com... Most Blu-Rays are around $20 and free shipping for >$25. Sometimes other places have better deals, but I don't like price hunting that much.

Also check if your local blockbuster has a good blu-ray selection. Mine just got a ton in (for rentals).

If there is one around you, go to Fry's Electronics. They have lower prices than amazon and you dont have to wait for shipping.

Well, I guess it depends on the area. I live in VA right now and there is a center isle display that features around 20 differennt titles. They also feture HD-DVD, but they have movies as low as $23 when they come outand some that just run for $20.

If anyone is military, the BX will price match any local retailer up to $10 without an ad.

...i'm one of those types, although I'm also not that comfortable putting my info out over the web....But down to BB or CC (which are pretty much my only choices), BB is way better on selection (and cust. service).

best buy at 20$ is better then waiting for it through the mail
I rather see the movies the same day rather then shop online

I wish there was a Fry's near me. I am in DC and the closest one is still many states away.

I use Amazon and Best Buy. I don't like the prices at Best Buy actually so I am trying not to go there so much anymore.

Average E-bay/Amazon used price is $14 shipped.

I would recommend buying some of the LOT auctions, then trading/selling off the titles you don't want.

When you buy one, make sure it's in excellent condition, is not scratched (blu-ray is very resilient, which makes buying used safer), and comes with the box and internal slip cover/materials.

You'll be able to watch the movie and sell it off for close to what you paid.

Also, scan this board and AVS for special promotions by different websites. You can often get new discs for close to an average of around $14, too. Some of them are very legit offers by sites like deepdiscount.com, Amazon, and more. Some people also suggest saving money by using Google checkout -- something I haven't tried just yet.
