Default The Navigator: A Medieval Odyssey

Coming from Umbrella
Quote:

A young boy in 14th century Cumbria (north of England) keeps getting visions he cannot explain. His village has so far been spared from the black death, but the villagers fear its imminent arrival. With the boy as their guide, a group set out to dig a hole to the other side of the world, so as to fulfil the visions and save the village. At the 'other side' is 20th century New Zealand !.. N.B. Flips from B+W to colour frequently.

Vincent Ward's striking tale of medieval pilgrims travelling through time to save their village, was nominated for the Palme d'Or at Cannes, and comes to Blu-ray newly remastered from a 2K scan for the first time in the world.

STREET DATE: SUMMER 2018.

Day one buy for me. I think this is Vincent Ward's best film.

I have already ordered it, along with all the other NZ BD releases coming from Arrow. I just received my ordered copy of 'Sleeping Dogs' and I can confirm that it is an ALL Regions disc, although that is not what it says on the disc, slick or advertising. The VQ and AQ is excellent as well as the 60 minute 2004 retrospective extra. Next up is 'Smash Palace' the end of this month.
